Sooooo Kirifi misses out because the idea is that Ardie is your locked in 7 and we need versatile loosies to fill in around him…… just for Jacobson to start at 7 and Ardie back to 8. I’m so confused bro.

Should have had Segner at seven, best all round stats even in a losing team and some height for Mex….

A little disappointed by the selection of Jacobson at 7 Ardie at 8 and Dmac instead of WJ he says he’s not biased but he’s selected a lot of Chiefs over other players just an observation

Du'Plessis destroys Jacobson in the Super final, yet Jacobson starts for the AB's at 7 wtf is up with that? 🙄

This is the beginning of a very interesting 3 year period for the ABs. The grand chelem is on the line with the inaugural nations cup, the grand tour, the wc and finally the b&I tour. The stage is set for history to be made. Never been more excited for a weekend

A few quite big surprises for me. I think if Jordan is fit he should play Fullback, it is his best spot. Yes Jordan is also very good on the Wing, but they have is a very good right winger in Moorby. Jordan + Moorby > DMac + Jordan I do wonder if DMac was selected at Fullback so their second option at No10 didn't use up a bench spot allowing them to have both Proctor and Fineanganofo on the bench. Otherwise if they had gone for Jordan + Moorby I think it would have been DMac and ALB on the bench. Very surprised to see Ardie moved to No8 especially when Kirifi wasn't selected (which I thought was because Ardie was preferred at No7). Jacobsen was very good for the Chiefs at No7, but thought Kirifi was better. Surprised about the selection at Hooker, Aumua has played really well so I understand he was picked on form. But then why didn't the pick on form rational extend to Taukei'aho? Aumua and Taukei'aho were the form hookers in Super Rugby with both out playing Taylor. Finally I was surprised Ratima claimed the bench spot over Preston, especially when Preston was a little bit of a surprise selection and was selected due to his excellent performances off the bench for the Crusaders Still a great AB team which I expect to get the job done over France.

A lot of chokers in the team. Best fullback in world on the wing? Caleb Clark, brilliant on defence, not. 7 playing at 8. Why the hell do we keep playing, best players in positions, out of position. D Mc played 10 all year, now hes at 15, he shouldn't even be there.

Aumua, Lomax, Numia. Very good front row impact, could be vital considering EDG, Taylor and Newell are all short of a gallop.

All in all, pretty disappointed with this team, where's the balls to select the new caps who are IN FORM. Two things for me. 1: The back row is too small (all barely 6ft & 100kg) and 2: WJ should be at 15 with Fehi on the right wing, DMAC is a bench impact player in the test arena, that's a fact. I feel the same way I did when Razor named his first squad back in 2024... MD, what are your thoughts?

I love how Razor wasn't allowed to pick anyone out of position without getting questioned and labeled yet Rennie can pick half his team out of position and it's genius. 😂😂😂😂 You guys are hilarious. wow why did we end up firing razor ... same sort of team. Where is Kerifi if Ardie is playing 7. If Jordan is playing he needs to be fullback. Daaaaaah what is going on. very dissapointed in this selection.

Last year all these players were picked on form too, weren't they? Its largely the same players that got their previous coach fired.
