My people, is it by force to speak to maids with disrespect? What exactly gives some women the confidence to talk down on another human being - because their makeup is fine, or because one “rich boyfriend” is sponsoring their lifestyle, or because they think they’ve “arrived”? Let’s be honest: If you know how pain and humiliation feels, why will you turn around and inflict it on someone else? Life is not hard like that!!! We should do unto others as we want them to do unto us - Simple❤ And please, let’s remember something very important: No condition is permanent!!! The same person you look down on today may be the one God uses to lift you tomorrow. I know this is a movie but, I've seen with my own eyes how this happens in reality😢 So, I’m just talking my own… God’s Love and Blessings always❤❤🙏🏾

Cynthia is a classic beauty and really versatile but I’ve never seen her this cold-blooded treating my Manny like this. To be honest I’ve seen Emanuella plays some humble parts but also some beyond bold characters so this is a first seeing her this vulnerable and subjugated. My heart hurt for how brutal, abusive, and ruthless Lizzie was to Ogechi but what goes around comes around! No one knows tomorrow and instead of Lizzie remembering when she was a poor village girl that lost her mom and not wanting anyone else to go through the same pain but for poverty she allowed pain and the trauma of being poor turn her into an abusive monster. At the end of the day we all have a choice. Past trauma, not wanting to go back to or be reminded of destitution, and the stress of exposure is no excuse to maltreat and put a poor maid and put her through hell on earth. Miimi Orjiekwe is so beautiful and her characters can also be ruthless. Moral of this story never underestimate people when you yourself have a lot to lose. The last people you would ever expect can bring you to your knees and in turn those same people came also help you rise when you fall. Be kind to people. The people you help today may be the ones to stand, deliver and return the favor tomorrow. In some cases when people like Ogechi get a hand up and not a hand out they use it wisely and don’t allow themselves to change for the worse but to pay it forward! So glad for Rex and Ogechi.

First off, why would you threat someone that clean and cook For you that bad? And second no matter how much money a maid is getting they shouldn’t allow someone threaten them that way, I would rather sell water on the Street corner, the abuse is unacceptable

Aww, that was sweet. 🥹 As for Lizzy... chaiii, karma really came knocking! Emmanuella was so good as Ogechi. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Ogechi and Rex, and for me, it's all about that ending! 👏🏽
