I work as a bouncer and honestly if you make us laugh in a way that hasnt been done too many times before, youre getting let in. Being annoying gets you removed because chances are youre going to be annoying to the bartenders and we're going to end up kicking you out anyways. Be funny or be kind, also if you tip the bouncers, theres a high chance you get to go down the vip line

My old man was head dorman of “posh” nightclub in Leeds years ago. He said the worst thing he saw was one night the owner came to him and said “there’s too many coloured people in here, don’t let anymore in”. After about 3 nights of this as started to gather, it became very obvious what was going on. He did tell me there was a few smug rich people who would ball £20s up and throw them at the door staff to show of. Which was a bonus lol
