Before the comment section fills up. Just want to say thanks for the many years of great content Etho. Ever since i was a little kid, coming home to watch the trio complete the ultimate challenge maps, I have always enjoyed getting my snacks together and watching you play minecraft. Still to this day I will call you my favorite youtuber, because you've never forced change as a result of any sort of algorithm. You have stayed true to yourself, and have made a constant stream of wonderful content as a result. Please dig that clay, its freaking me out ;)

I can’t help but chuckle at the fact that, last episode, Etho started the mob museum project with the goal of displaying every unique mob texture. Then in the following update, Mojang adds a mob with nearly as many unique textures as there are blocks in the game 😂 better get to work E!

21:49 I think that the shears don’t do anything if it selects a block that the sulphur cube isn’t already holding. That is, you don’t need the shears to remove a block if you just dispense a new one. When you see it “fail” it’s just selecting shears and when it succeeds it’s just selecting a different block.

Just recently started watching Etho. I’ve seen him in other hermit’s videos and always heard about him. I finally started watching a few of his videos and can totally understand why he is so respected! His videos never fail to get me in a better mood despite how troublesome life can get at times. Always just full of positivity. Needless to say- I get the Etho hype 😭

21:10 My guess is that you don't need the sheers at all. Looks like it auto-swaps if it's a different block. And when it picks the sheers it just removes the block inside, whereas when it picks the block it swaps.

A lot of experimentation that I wouldn't think of. That's also how Etho figured out the Wind Charge Launcher. That's why it is "Minecraft Done Technical". Much appreciated.

Baby sulfur cubes will always despawn unless the one it split from was given a nametag. You can remove the nametag with the anvil afterwards. Naming them with an anvil does not work. All future baby sulfur cubes that split from the named one (even after removing the name with the anvil) will not despawn so you don't need to do it for all of them.

Etho! I know you’re probably tired of hearing this, but I’ve just graduated college this May and I’m about to move out and down to my very first apartment for graduate school! I started watching your videos when I was 8 years old with supervised tv time (truly what were my parents thinking. lol), and now I’m still watching and enjoying your videos all these years later. Even if I don’t watch minecraft youtube anymore, I’ll always watch you, and with 600 eps of your let’s play coming up, I just wanted to say congratulations.
