Blood moon rises is out and the Maggot King! This guide is aimed for bare minimum to get your toes wet. Right now what is generally good at the boss is known, but because of all the different mechanics and nitty gritty burn damage status, it is hard to get a clear picture until Gearscape/Wiki calc are updated. This should be more than enough to get you your first KCs. The Maggot King is very doable with even a Zombie axe and Twinflame staff, and the kill speeds are solid at 2.5 to 3 minutes. The loot needs a bit of tweaking as it is definitely on the low side, but the new drops are incredibly valuable to compensate at well over 200m each. DH Bombing seems super fun and Scythe/Harm staff look to be BIS with Shadow/ZCB/Twinstaff in max mage close behind. I will update this when more things are fleshed out and calcs are up and running. As a colourblind person I cannot tell the difference between the green and yellow splashes on the floor. I really hope they make the colours more distinct because this boss is gonna be a nightmare lol
Fellow irons. Use the scar essense extract when making sunfire runes and you'll make more than enough sunfire runes really quickly. Like 50k in no time while saving a ton on sunfire splinters

For those irons that don't know, apparently you can make searing pages/sunfire runes using the scar essence mine waaaaaay faster.
