I'm a 35-year-old French, now living in Australia. Literally lived through all the glories of our French team over the last 3 decades - 1 Euro win and another final, 2 World Cup wins and 2 finals, and our teams stacked full of legends of the game and our almighty Zizou. But I've never seen a side scarier than our 2026 team, and given how good our previous teams were, it says a lot. The entire offence is stacked with Ballon d'Or-level player, all at their peak, and everyone behind them is simply world-class. Football is unpredictable, and nothing is guaranteed, but it's simply a blessing seeing this French team. I want a France (my home country) versus Australia (my adoptive country :P) final. Now let's go Socceroos!
