here before gta 6 feels small
Going to be wild when we get the game and the map actually goes all the way to Atlanta.
GTA 5 map in 2013 was brilliant, now aged badly, but GTA San Andreas map is still great.
Starting off in the Keys and then slowly uncovering the Grassrivers, Vice City, Ambrosia, Mt.Kalaga, Port Gelhorn as well as the northern most part that will supposedly feature both Yorktown & Sundown as well as the 'Gloriana' border, will add so much to the experience of vastness that I think it will genuinely surprise folks when it comes to the size of the map. + add to that the verticality of Vice City, the underwater exploration as well as potential a highway system that will be more similar to GTA San Andreas, we might have a map that will never get boring
I just realized in RDR2 there were so many of those loading slow downs especially going into Saint Denis I always wondered why at some points on my horse it would force me to slow down.
I think it's not just the map. Look at the cars; in GTA 5 they are scaled 10-15% smaller than real life counterparts. Plus the lanes were oversized to accommodate players going high speed. I think it looks like GTA 6 has 1:1 scale cars and narrower roads to make traffic more of a legitimate obstacle.
Thank you for the video. Im so tired of people just complaining about everything with this game.
We already know it's gonna have a lot of references to GTA vice city which i wanna see
I swear these videos are basically free marketing for GTA6/Rockstar. Y'all are doing the work for them without the pay.
4:52 - Plane, Helicopter, Boat.. so there are multiple ways I think :D
One way gta 4 made the world feel bigger was the driving physics. It was more realistic control of the vehicles, which meant that you needed to drive slower to get around without wrecking your vehicle beyond repair
Rdr2 felt so big damn gta 6 is gonna feel like a new world
11:08 Dry and humid? I don't think that's how that works 😂
10:10 that’s crazy I went to table rock mountain for a school field trip and we saw a bear😂they made us all be quiet
I always felt that something was off about gta 5's map and I think you've pointed it out perfectly. San Andreas felt huge (at the time), Liberty City felt dense, but then came the remake of Los Santos, with its highway ring and nothing much to do around it. It didn't feel like an adventure to cross it! In recent years, I think that Ghost of Yotei did an amazing job in making the map feel huge even if it's just small zones. There are choke points and the landscape is perfectly mapped out to give an illusion of grandeur, just like they do in Disney World. It's hard to explain, but when it works, it works.

If there’s nothing north of the current map like an Orlando sized city it will be small because once again we’re going to be stuck with a map that only has one major city that everyone will congregate in.
I am pretty sure Rockstar wanted GTA 5 to be more ambitious than what it is now. But due to hardware limitations, they were not able to make that possible. As PS4 was very much powerful than PS3, they managed to maximize the potential in RDR2.
there are mountains.. you can see them in screenhots 🙄
If theres challenges like in RDR 2 I bet there will be to drive from the bottom of the keys all the way to the top of the map under a time limit like you do in RDR 2
