I really don’t understand why Josh is refusing to accept that 12-year-old Adam (a child!) was “bullying” him at the behest of his ex-wife. This is like blaming a child for their parents’ divorce. Adam didn’t have anywhere near the same agency that Josh (a grown man!) did during that time.

Joshua feels so entitled to Adam’s time and attention that it’s really bizarre.
I'm a grateful addict in recovery and I spent about two years completing an intensive outpatient treatment program. One of the very first things the program taught me was that if you're constantly analyzing and judging the conduct of others, you're likely ignoring your own. The program absolutely saved my life and taught me that I am NOT a victim of anything but rather a person who is solely responsible for my own poor choices. I only mention this because JDE has previously made vague references to "being sober" and I think he could really benefit from treatment.
