I love that they gave this narrator another paycheck, she has the down-to-earth relatable vibe that Splatoon embodies while still being informative and hitting all the We Legally Have To Put This Part In marks. Raiders is going to be absolute peak

My headcanon is that the Squid Research Lab exists in universe and they're the few surviving humans watching and researching the Inklings in secret. Splatoon 3 confirms that humans didn't all immediately die out, so some managing to escape Alterna before it collapsed isn't entirely out of the question.
The UI and UX is incredible

Oh my god, I was already going to get this game, but it looks so much better than I could have imagined.
I love Splatoon, but for a single-player game lover as myself, the grind needed (and the reliance on others) in the main games and the multiplayer aspect has usually kept me to sporadic play sessions but this, this is something I could play for a long time. So excited
Since salmonids are already established in lore to not all be mindless beasts, the plot of this game is essentially just attacking indigenous lands and stealing their treasure lmao
