As a Korean, I want to clarify that people aren't angry just because the team played poorly. The real issue is that the manager was appointed through an unfair and corrupt process, and during the parliamentary hearing, they showed utter disrespect toward the public. That's why the public outrage is directed at the corruptly appointed manager and the Korea Football Association (KFA), not the players
The players did their best and faught for their country. Yet they are tainted by the deeds of the manager.

Korean are really very ungracious people. I don't think anyone in the team wanted to lose. They have tried their best and now they are returning home with injuries and fatigue. Even the president doesn't show any appreciation at all. 😢
The problem with the coach should be dealt with separately.On top of loosing and suffering mental, physical and emotional damage the players being at the receiving end of this shameful and scary homecoming is really sad and heartbreaking. Such a big discouragement for the next generation of players.
