The wait for the 2026 Tata Sierra EV is finally over, as we witnessed its launch in India today. Priced between Rs 18.79 lakh - Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom), this is the most expensive mid-size SUV EV in its class. In fact, at this price point it now comes close to some born EVs like Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9S. At the same price point, one can also opt for cars like Carens EV, VinFast VF6, VF7 and few more. Interestingly, its 63kWh battery pack version offers more power than the 75kWh one. The absolutely top-end AWD trim, however, offers more power and torque and can achieve 0-100 in less than 6 seconds making it the fastest India-made SUV. In this video, I have shared my honest and raw opinions. A detailed drive review will happen later this month.

Starting 16 Lacs expected honaa Chahiye thaa

Finally someone said about pricing I felt Atleast 2 lakhs costly hai every variant
Sierra Ev prices is overlapping with Harrier Ev prices
7:07 Looks like Pickup truck
I was Expecting 16 to 23l
Sierra should have launched with 55 kw and 65 kw battery and price should have started from 16 lakh to 22 lakh
I think they price every EV around 2-3 Lakhs more than they should at launch so that they can sell the old stocks of other evs by offering discounts and make them look more lucrative...and than eventually increase the production and dispatch of the new car and than give discount and bring down to the actual price making it VFM after 6-8 months of launch...its not great for consumer that wants the latest car but thats what you pay for the FOMO of latest product....and company is not wrong in doing so and they need to sell the stock of other ready cars too... The same thing Apple is doing for years with iPhones specially PRO series...when new pro series launches...many people buy the older pro phones at great discounts which makes the older iphones out of stock quickly....
I just love this guy - Such Honesty
