The contrast between stokes and Williamson has never been so stark. To not only retire mid game but also promote yourself to open the batting. Says a lot.

I know that this will sound entirely Juvenile...... But If you go to 12:07 in the video, the scorecard at the bottom of the screen, on the left hand side it has the batters last name and score...... 😂 I found that really amusing
Mitchell has been pulling us out of the toilet in ODIs and Tests for the longest time now. He will go down is one of our 🐐 middle order bats. Whenever he’s in I always feel like we are in with a sniff. Also Ravindra looks like the best bat in both teams when he’s on.
As much as Mitch deserves the praise, we should not forget the contribution of Rachin (the way he was scoring run and keep the board ticking), amazing all round performance by Blackcaps 🇳🇿❤🎉
Test cricket has always been more entertaining if you actually appreciate the game. There is far more drama involved when you have to value your wicket.

Mitchell showed England today, everything wrong with Bazball. He put his body on the line, played the clock as much as the ball and EARNED us this position of strength. What Stokes, Brooke and Duckett did in reply, was entertaining yes... But may well cost the match and series.
I havent seen so many battered players, Sears nasty gash on finger, Tickner concussed, Mitchell not sure what part of body hasnt been hit. Keep fighting. Great editings, you told a story and good flow
