I worked at a gay bar with this barback who used this to get through the crowds on busy days. He'd be carrying ice/beer/garnish and just yell "MOVE I'M GAY" and everyone would just separate the crowd and help him through faster. He was the fastest barback because of this and got promoted to bartending the fastest out of anyone there.

Married into a Punjabi family, and suddenly *I* was getting the hookups! My favorite moment was when I went to an independent convenience store, looking for batteries at night, and everywhere else was closed. They didn't have any, so I asked at the counter, because maybe I missed them. He said no, they don't sell them. Dang, but all good, thanks anyway. About to leave, I saw beautiful paintings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Guru Nanak Dev ji behind him. I mentioned them, he smiled, and told me to wait. He went to the back, brought out his own personal remote for their television, took the batteries out, and handed them to me. I tried to deny him, I didn't want to make him the one without batteries he needed, but he wouldn't take them back. He seemed happy to do it, and I was so, so grateful. Happy to say that business is still booming over a decade later, and so is my marriage aaayyyee.

I once got the homie hook up when I was visiting a friend in a different state. I gave the lady at checkout my phone number and she goes you’re not around from here? And I said no, just visiting my friend (all in Spanish) and she gave me her employee discount 😅

Should be said, if you’re in a crowded hospital with difficulty breathing, tell them that specially and you’ll go to the front always. “I have difficulty breathing” is basically hospital code for “I need to go first or I’ll die”
