I would just get a paint bucket for the stain easy to carry and won’t spill as easily as a paint tray. Cabin looks amazing you’re doing great.

I am in Florida and had several properties on the ocean or bay and honestly, the stress of hurricanes is not worth the location. So I moved more inland for more land and peace and quiet! Cabin looks great, I built a few back in the days. Don’t forget to stain the outhouse, it needs it .
I live in Tennessee and am a senior woman. I drove to Alaska last year, camping and hiking along the way. I took the Trans-Canada Highway across Canada starting in British Colombia then took the Alaskan Highway to Anchorage. I stayed with a friend for 5 weeks. We did such incredible stuff. Memories for a lifetime. I did this alone. One thing I can tell you is that it is more remote than is what is showed on YouTube. You always fill up when you go by a gas station and most time you pay in advance and it is in liters. Its a trip I will never forget. I love to travel and have spents months away from home seeing different places. As long as God let's me, I will contine to travel. The cabin is looking great.

Someone already suggested this, but I just finished my tool shed with a $15 weed sprayer (3 gal pump) and stain. Better application of expensive stain. No drip waste if you keep it moving. However, your brush application looks good…you’re just going to use every bit and more of that stain by brush. Good luck, Young Lady. It looks very nice. Don’t buy a $300 ladder. They can be gotten a LOT cheaper…

The stain looks great you should use a empty paint can and put the stain in and hang it off the ladder.
