Days of sanding, repairing damaged waterproofing, and correcting an epoxy mixing mistake tested our patience, but the results are finally beginning to shine. We also take a bold step outside our comfort zone by introducing a beautiful blue finish inspired by traditional Portuguese "azulejos." Meanwhile, Ferg continues crafting our custom oak butcher block countertops, Nicholas works on finishing details throughout the house, and we finally test-fit the custom glass panel that will showcase the original watermill wheel shaft beneath our floor 😍 Outside, we're preparing the land for Portugal's dry season while pushing hard toward one goal: obtaining our habitation license and finally moving into the home we've spent years restoring. Every project uncovers another challenge, but each challenge brings us one step closer to calling this magical old watermill home!
