Cross' hunter shade is only second to his marathon mogging.

i think if that hunter build was against another build it could've maybe won but that wwarlock build is just peak i didn't expect it to tank that much, even that death wouldn't had happened if cross didn't miss keybind

So. As a hunter main that loves stasis. Everything about the build and the way people were trying to micromanage your gameplay is insane. I've been using mask of fealty. My opinion, as someone getting a lot of value without the set bonus? He should've been running Grim Harvest + Winter's Shroud. Shatterdive is NOT necessary, THAT is the throw. Grim Harvest alone is getting you max frost armor constantly, winter's shroud is giving you more DR and slows/freezes from the class ability that gives your melee back, it actually feeds into a consistent gameplay loop instead of randomly shatterdiving for frost armor instead of utilizing the exotic's shuriken-oriented shatter. Plus there's definitely better choices of weapons for synergy - what you had was fine but, why not bring a stasis primary that can help spawn stasis crystals? or Monte Carlo? but even like, a Headstone primary is going to spawn stasis crystals which is more stasis shards and thus melee energy, as well as opportunities to shatter crystals with your melee and tie into the build loop. I swear, most hunters don't understand buildcrafting the way our Warlock and Titan - especially Warlock - bretheren do. Y'all need to take after the Bladedancers of lore with Blink and learn from the warlocks instead of just trash talking them. Like I did. oh, and I stand by Glacier grenade being better than the new grenade for this build too. You can shatter the crystals with your shuriken and it makes a room clearing nuke. edit: Another bonus point to Glacier Grenades that cross wasn't utilizing. You can use it as a healing grenade in a pinch. Spawn the wall, break it, stasis shards. Boom, healing on demand. edit2: Grim harvest, Winter's Shroud, whispers of conduction/hunger/rime/fissures/refraction, go for high class/melee stats, glacier grenade, gambler's dodge, a primary with headstone or crystalline corpsebloom. Infinitely more reliable and consistent version of the same build. And far easier to use - you don't need to juggle 20 different moves like you're playing a fighting game trying to decide when to shatterdive, when to shatter with shurikens, when to shoot weapons instead. It just works. Like any good build should. Everything you do except your dodge spawns stasis crystals. Shattering crystals with your shurikens spawns more shurikens and crystals. Your dodge gives you melee energy and DR on top of the frost armor (and if over 100, overshield too), your stasis shards heal you and give you melee energy back. Shattering any stasis crystals or frozen targets gives stasis shards, you get that frost armor from Grim Harvest without relying on awkwardly forcing Shatterdive in there - and it doesn't require a kill anymore, just shattering crystals! It's just better. It just works. It's that simple. These hunters don't know what they're doing, and they're whining like babies because they don't know how to make their own build and blame Cross for it. This version of the build has been MORE reliable for me than the build was for cross. And I'm not even using a set bonus.

Imo, a corruption subclass would've been so much better than siva, I just wish hunters and titans would've gotten a exotic armor piece as well and a corruption bow too

a really nice use for Mask of Fealty is to throw your blades right at the floor in front of majors instead of directly at them, so you create two crystals instead of one

Man - want that Warlock armor for that build but probably won't get it.

I recommend Blur's stasis hunter build for those interested in running stasis, it's just a better version of the build then the one shown in this vid.

This is pretty close to a build I ran in ghosts of the deep, I was using osteo, and just necrotic grips, plus a trace and volatile. Fckn crazy build, and tablet of ruin really adds to it.

Feel like titan does that frost thing better, idk maybe a hot take😅
