Can We Go 1 Tourney Without Drama?

How have we learn literally NOTHING from the kingman zaza drama ffs. DO NOT MIX PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WIN WITH PEOPLE PLAYING FOR THE VIBES.

This feels like my solo que rank matches than an acutal tourney.

ATP they should stop including all ranks in this tournament as if there aren’t going to be pure sweats for 300k Edit: for those of you who don’t understand my comment. There needs to be a cap Rank They decide to place in these tournaments. For example, one above all players should play against one of above all players and eternity. It should not be gold vs one above all. It’s not balance and it’s unfair, and realistically, no one wants to see that it’s not entertaining

The real problem with the kingsman drama was never zazza refusing to swap. It was the ganging up and bullying by the rest of the team for even suggesting she should swap, as well as him actually being KICKED from the tournament for it. Warn should have swapped and been more willing to listen to his team. But suggesting that this situation is anywhere near as toxic is blowing it way out of proportion.

Tbf this tourney was kinda scuffed to begin with looking at the teams and 300k involved.

would it be naive of me to think they may just throw teams together like this because the actual drama outcomes of these tourneys is better advertisement than any they could do

The clip of him being told that he *will not* win on SG by a literal professional E-Sport player who is consistently Eternity/OAA, and him saying “nah I got this” is so telling. It’s okay if he didn’t know how serious it was to everyone at first and that’s on the organizers. But when he learned, he didn’t try to take it more seriously and swallow his pride at all.

the sad thing is if i hear a marvel rivals tournament i would be surprised if there wasn't any drama

I was watching from the Brazil team stream because i gotta support my country, and at one point they said same thing as Jay. "I wish it had more visibility, because we got notified three in the morning" they were referring to the day of the torney. But they were all happy they got invited, because this is the first time Brazilian creators get into somehting like this

This Zaza 2.0 really said "I just dont find any other characters fun in this game", NetEase surely picked a good content creator to promote the game lol

So this is just the average Rivals drama. Just chronically online people bitching back and forth about nonsense on Twitter when they genuinely just don’t have to.

The funniest part in all this is the OW players defending Warn that “it’s not the same as Zazza because he’s just an Overwatch player” like Overwatch is fkn Golf with Friends 😂 He’s a hit scan player, a good one at that and the best dps characters in this game are hit scan. That Amori? (Always forget her name) she asked politely just once to play thinking of others and play into the team, he did it once for 5 minutes, muted and complained the entire time and said he was just placating then he’s not getting off squirrel girl. It’s the most blatantly selfish “eh imma do me” clean cut scenario possible yet people are somehow jumping HER for it 😂😂😂😂

You know, you can always just say no. He says that he knew ts would happen, then just say no. Just say “I don’t know how to play the game and don’t want to taint the tournament’s outcome.” But nah, you chose to play and compete even when you knew it would end up with drama.

As a woman, aramori saying shes either seen as a pushover or a bitch is 100000% accurate, thats the reality of being a woman unfortunately - ive been in leader positions, and i could even be saying "please can u do this" or "hey if you dont mind, id like you to go ahead and do this" and people will STILL call me a bitch, women will always get insulted no matter what they do - they either stay silent and reap the repercussions or lead and be attacked for it, whereas a man can be 10x harsher and get called based for it or even funny.

understand flats wanting to be neutral but i'm so glad he picked a side by the end.
