Most of the logos are recognizable even without the letters on its. That's why its LOGO.

I get that for other brands because yeah if companies are paying millions to get proper ads it’s fair But to block out the actual stadium that’s letting them use it for the World Cup is next level stinge

Ridiculous on so many levels. Starting with covering up the host venue stadium's name. This is probably a weird analogy, but it's like if the Olympics committee banned their selected host country from displaying its own flag.
