I'm a farmer you will have to cut it right back the tree, as it has an Infestation and it will spread to the other trees,it's also very sticky so wear gloves! But cut it right back!!! It will grow back in two years bigger and better,but do not let it spread

You normally plant your garlic in the fall and harvest them in June, July. When the garlic grows, you know it is going good when you see garlic scapes. Garlic scapes are excellent to use in cooking as well. Don't let the scapes bloom.
