What I love about Deion, a supremely gifted athlete with an ego to match, and a HoF NFL player, is that he openly loves baseball but also gives frank perspective on just how hard it is to face elite MLB pitching. The truth is, you're an absolute witch if you can hit MLB pitching.

The 2001 World Series is what sparked my love of baseball. Randy Johnson and Kurt Shilling beat those damn Yankees. I was at the Nebraska v Kansas football game that year when the Yankees score came up on the board and they were losing. The only thing that whole game that Kansas fans had to cheer for.

I maintain to this day that RJ in his 4 straight Cy Young winning seasons in Arizona were the best any pitcher has ever been in the history of the league. I watched him pitch nearly every game and he was electric, dominant, snd every game was legit chance at a no hitter

Randy Johnson was a beast back in the day. Seems like every time I turned to sports or the news, it was Randy sending someone back for a Mountain Dew, Chewing Tobacco, or gum. When they ran outta peanuts, they gave 'em sunflower seeds 😂😂😂
