Unemployed demanding someone be fired from their job
Marvel Rivals: Civil War (2026)
>streamers disagree >communities fight >grab popcorn for comments
2.5 hr video came out 1 hr ago, hate comments 38 min ago... sounds about right.
Characters need balancing ✅ Matchmaking needs to improve ✅ Good anti-cheat implementation required ✅ Playerbase needs more braincells ✅✅✅
Alive internet theory in these comments I am proud
video idea, you get a few people from every rank to make a balance patch together, then compare them and see how different ranks view the game.
smug redditor attitude is up there with the most dislikable traits to have.
Schrodinger's asshole, if he's right he meant it but if he's wrong it's hyperbole and jokes
Honestly the best take Flats had about Lyte is that some people just play this game to much and it messes with how they see the game Rivals has been more enjoyable to me when I play for just like three hours a day then when I went longer
It’s 1 am
I completely agree with flats fr the pro section is so small and the casual base is literally the most game
Honestly, if these people are Lyte fans are in these comments shitting on Flats, wait till they find out what CloudedRio says about pro players 😂
1:05:28 It's interesting how Lyte says that he wouldn't tell a rocket engineer how to do their job, and then compares it to plat players voicing their opinions, while at the same time acting as if being a top player somehow qualifies him to tell the developers how to make the game. That's basically the same as an astronaut telling a rocket engineer how to do their job. Sure, astronauts have valuable feedback that engineers should consider, but they clearly don't understand every nuance of rocket design and engineering. The same applies to game development. People really don't understand that game development is a skill that has to be learned. Simply playing a game may give you a deep understanding of certain aspects of it, but that is not the same thing as actually developing one. What he's essentially arguing is an expert fallacy while simultaneously presenting himself as the expert. His experience as a player gives him useful insight and feedback, but it doesn't automatically make him an expert on game development.
I would like to see them both in a call in a respectful aggrement
0:15 he stopped himself😂😂😂 he thought to himself “fuck I gotta talk lil bit slower to space this out”
While I don't think that Flats handled this entirely with grace, some of you in the comments are intentionally trying to downplay his points (as in, the important parts that he does do well enough). There is also some stuff in the comments that are just straight up untrue, but im guessing that's from people who didn't watch the stream. Also, almost nothing Flats says is unprompted, all the ego stuff is always in response to someone else's ego, something a normal viewer would know. Not to say everyone who disagrees with Flats here just didn't watch the vid, but as I'm scrolling I'm seeing some stuff that seems like maybe Lyte fans or people who don't watch Flats just saying whatever.
I don't think people are listening. The reason why Flats is so serious about Lyte saying that he wants some staff fired is because Lyte has a platform now. More importantly, he has influence. How many times have we seen trolls take it too far? It can get really rough, and it's clear that the social media team is aware of whatever is what is going on on these platforms. I agree it's an emotional response, but Flats has been telling people this over and over again. Regardless of what the joke is, influence matters, hell, Flat learned that lesson before, and he's still learning. Flats is right. Lyte can not hide behind the "it's a joke" excuse forever because sometimes it's not a joke, and people CAN tell when it is not a joke. People have gotten much better at seeing through streamers and knowing when the joke is not a joke. It's not rocket science. Maybe he could've gotten away with it 10-15 years ago, but he can't do that now. Trolls will take it and make it into a bigger deal than what the original source wanted or people will believe it with no research, which is why it's important for Lyte to be aware of his influence. I will agree that Flats should have also been more aware of his wording during this, but the worst he has done is get emotional and call Lyte some names like he does with everyone else. TL;DR Lyte needs to be aware of his influence, Flats got emotional as he always does, Lyte hides behind the "it's a joke" excuse and he cannot do that anymore if he wants to be taken seriously. Edit: It seems some people didn't read the whole thing clearly or just skimmed it, but I never said Flats was in the right for attacking Lyte's character. I only said he was right when he brought up Lyte's influence. I don't agree with how he went about it, but Lyte is NOT innocent here, nor is he a victim, hence why I didn't care to elaborate. He did not have to react to Flats' video. He chose to do that. He CHOSE to upload a video of it. Stop treating him like a puppy that got kicked. You guys are babying Lyte. Neither of them are innocent, but that does not take away from the fact that Lyte did hide behind the "it's a joke" and "it's just hyperbole" excuse several times. A lot of you are still missing the point. He can say it's hyperbolic or a joke all he wants, but it's not going to stop trolls or people who just take his word as truth spreading it around and attaching Lyte's name to their own takes. It makes him and the community look bad. And why are people calling Flats unprofessional or inappropriate when Lyte is a pro player? Shouldn't he be acting much better than this, considering he's in a well-known org? Where are the people holding him accountable and calling him unprofessional? 🤔 If he has that NTMR logo on screen, then he needs to act better. I highly doubt NTMR wants someone attached to their name making "jokes" about horrible things happening to the devs of the game that they play and have a team set for tournaments for that game.
Thank god lyte is not in charge of balance or 99% of casual audience would quit, not even joking. People don't understand how toxic dive heroes are for the average gamer, they can't deal with them and they end up quitting. If you want this game to die then sure, lets go ahead and buff dive heroes that already have insane winrates from bronze to plat, where most people are and kill the game while you are it.
Holy shit blade magik being put towether
