Steve Clark learned nothing from their previous defeat. The worst defense and goalkeeping performance possible. Defenders who think they can play football across the goalmouth instead of passing the ball into midfield. They lost us the game.
I don't think anyone expected Scotland to win, but what was really disappointing is just the negative style of football being played. You are the underdogs, you have nothing to lose, have a go. Constantly passing it back and around your defence is just inviting Brasil to have a go at you. And with the class they have compared to Scotland it's inevitable that they will pressure you until they eventually get something. This passing back style of football makes the game so frustrating and boring for me and it rarely really works except for the very best teams.
