The betrayal from the husband pained me to my bone. It was as if he didn’t really know the wife. But forgiveness was necessary for the peace of mind and sanity of the wife. Yes marriage is for better and for worse doesn’t mean you stay in a toxic one that destroys your sanity. I wouldn’t have gone back but that’s her choice and I respect that as well.
