8:20 So while technically correct for optimal distance travelled, if you're looking for specifically hang time then 45 degrees is not the optimal, it's going to be 90 degrees (or close to). In projectile physics (which is what applies here) the vertical and horizontal velocity and acceleration are entirely separate, so no matter how fast you're moving horizontally you'll still hit the ground at the same time as long as your vertical velocity is the same, assuming the ground underneath is flat. So the ideal launch angle is theoretically straight up, however obviously a ramp that steep and with such a direction changecould cause sufficient deceleration to be counter productive so it may be better to launch at a shallower angle, it's gonna be more than 45 degrees. I know nobody asked but having studied this stuff I thought I'd share anyway lol.

To be fair, with the gravity and boost pad removal, the vast majority of people are still seeing everything the base game has to offer. We havent gotten to the experimental stage of FH6 where people are craving more so they make it themselves

I remeber when you lauched supertrucks and supras over Zona Industriale in FH2. Jumps are a lot bigger these days. (Also I recently went back to FH2 and beat your jump distance in a hennessey venom gt lol)

for the last jump you need light and bad aerodynamically car, the lesser your airspeed, the better
