I may have missed this, but why are you traveling in a diffent RV?
Hands down, our favorite is Landry Vineyards in West Monroe LA.
We love Harvest Hoasts. Went from Orange County CA to Breeze Illinois to visit our granddaughter. Harvest Hoasts all the way there and all the way back!
Love watching you guys adapt to the Lineage. We have one as well. Leveling is a major pain with this rig. I’ve never had a motorhome that has such limited leveling capability. Unfortunately we had to resort to using blocks under the jacks to get more range. Sometimes when you use blocks it will try to lift the tires off the ground so we have also had to drive up on blocks sometimes to prevent that. Using a levelmate pro helps find the most level spot when parking. Many of us had issues with the fridge not cooling the upper shelves well. Keep an eye on that and make sure not to block the rear of the fridge for airflow. Also, my fridge sometimes decide to pop the breaker. Make sure it’s actually running! Good luck, otherwise we love ours!
The Buffalo Ranch in Limon, CO.
A favorite HH is D. H. Lescombes Winery & Tasting Room in Deming, NM.
Stacy, your fitness plan is working! You are lookin GOOD! Keep up the good work! God's Blessings!
Gotta have driving shoes! They have different comfort level from walking shoes. I am with you Phil 😂
On our GD Fifth wheel, need to get it fairly close to level. May need to put some blocks where the jacks have a long throw. Then auto level
Our favorite HH's: Brewery: Wire Road Brewery in Battlefield, MO.(This one is a must. Free t-shirts for staying). Winery: Landry Vineyards in West Monroe, LA. Museums: Mid-America Air Museum in Liberal, KS (have been to several good ones though, hard choice). We've stayed at so many HH and BD in the last 8 years, that it's really hard to remember them all.
The Captain of the vessel must have the right shoes for each task: - Easy on/easy off driving shoes, critical for removing the shoes when entering the living space to prevent tracking in dirt. Also great for letting the dog out in the middle of the night. - Muck ankle boots for making and breaking camp in the rain. Very helpful in those campsites that pool water around the rig on wet days. - Waterproof ankle hiking boots are essential for lengthy hiking trails to prevent twisting ankles and for keeping your feet dry. - Crocs or sandals for the beach, the pool, or the campground showers. - Backup casual pair of shoes suitable for driving, sightseeing, and nicer eateries. Useful when the main driving shoes are wet and drying. Bonus if these are also waterproof trail shoes. - (Optional) sport shoes for pickle ball.
Absolutely love you two. God bless you
We have a smaller class C. I use ramps for front wheels, about 50% of the time I use the ramps to keep front end from lifting off the ground. I use a level when we get to camp spot and if more Than a bubble off front to back I drive up on ramps until level, easy peasy
I would love to stay at this Harvest Host
Oh golly sakes. Had we realized you were in our general locality at Gettysburg, we could have visited
I think what you changed was the rebound and compression rates on the Fox shocks.
Oliver Farm Artisan Oils is a great HH spot. Lots of pressed oils.
I have a lot of shoes too Phil.
I never knew I needed an ice maker until I got one in my RV. Now we've bought a house (Arrrrg) and I don't have one. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Well, how long has it been since y'all suffered from the " newby blues ?" I don't guess it's actually the newby blues, rather the new rig jitters. Either way out of your comfort zone. Having, using and relying on a checklist sure makes it a little uncomfortable when you don't have one. Looks like y'all did a good job. God bless y'all and stay safe out there on the road. ❤👍👍🙏
