Active recall: you want to be able to process the newly learned information and reproduce them on your own. Recall what you have learned without looking at your notes. Spaced repetition: To get information from your working memory to your long term storage, try to repeat what you have learned after 24 hours. And then reconcile after a time period which is a bit longer. Eat the frog: Your brain has the biggest capacity in the early morning. Write a to-do list and mark the hardest task, do that first. After each learning session, take some time to engage in reflection, what worked and what didn't in your learning process.

Question from a highschool student: How valuable is knowledge actually in university exams? And what should people rather aim for? Creative and analytical thinking skills, scientific methods or just copy-pasting information from the bookshelf into one's brain? And could you please make a video on different learning types, neurodivergent people, etc. in terms of studying methods?

My problem is that I cannot sit on my desk to study for more than 30 seconds. Do you have any tips for this problem?

loved this !!! my question for this is how to make up for that 24 hour rule if you havent been implementing it? we are nearing the end of the school year and for someone who hasn't done this or done this inconsistently, how can we make up for it? is it just more focus on that spaced repetition and active recall, along with the other study methods like teaching someone etc.
Something else that will help is to do your studying in 30 minute chunks. This way, you're increasing the chances of the information you take in, getting locked into your long term memory. Your brain works hard if you're fully focused for 30 minutes but declines in concentration after that. Give yourself a little break, say five minutes and then go back at it again.
What breaks would you recommend? I thougth a good one was napping, but then I just feel groggy after
every influencer now is a "neuroscientist" but nobody published an actual research
