Coach didn’t say she couldn’t run, she just said to watch. Which you can watch it and run. They’re not mutually exclusive. Coach needs to take accountability and tell her exactly what she wants. Don’t run, just watch.
Watching and don't run are different
Kids taught that scoring means you’re important. Teach them that knowing the fundamentals makes them important. Strike out, missed fly ball, whatever. They still get praise for their fundamentals. Guarantee they play better for it.

As a coach, it helps a TON to finish most sentences with “do you understand?” And more importantly, make them explain it back to you. 😁
All I learned from the comments is half the people literally don't know the rules and just wanna have an emotional reaction.
