You've reached the end
Company makes 64M in profit... yet is considered laughing stock.
They had pizza huts next to blockbuster it was genius
The subtle 4th wall break
Funny part is Yum is the reason it's so bad now 😂 the yum formula is essentially this: 1) buy a franchise that is doing well 2) ride its success while slowly and quietly reducing quality to increase profits 3) renovate the locations to generic corporate box buildings that can be easily resold once the business starts loosing money 4) ride the nostalgia and memory of the brand they destroyed like parasites until it starts to lose money as people realize how terrible and generic it's becoming 5) sell off the brand or close it once it's image and reputation are destroyed 6) find a new restaurant chain that's doing well and repete
That phone is gonna show up again
Private equity firms are one of the worst things to happen. They drive up prices, lower quality and quantity and over all make things worse for the customer and employees.
Pizza Hut and Yum is being sued by one of its largest franchise holders of 111 stores... for 100 million dollars cause the delivery app they forced them to use tanked sales and customer ratings... cause all the gig-drivers were gaming the systems AI dashboard and delivering food late and cold.
Pizza Hut restaurants during the '80s was the best family restaurant.
Pizza Hut tried to pivot to a business model Domino's had already dug its heels into. Throwing away all their sit down restaurants for take-outs.
$64 million in profits a quarter and this is considered a failure.
Our town still has our old-fashioned, sit down, juke box in the corner Pizza Hut buffet with the Tiffany lamps. The inside has been upkept and they just replaced the games in the arcade. It's still a popular place for work lunches and after game celebrating. They should bring that joy back for other places because I forget how lucky we are to still have one.
I've been to pizza hut last year after many years of not going there and it's just medicore pizza for a lot of money. I really prefer small pizza places or just chains with cheap pizza, at least there you know, your expectations are low. It's a little sad, cause I have plenty of good memories.
SpaceX would be happy to make that profit 😂😂😂
When I was a kiddo, having your birthday party at Pizza Hut was the ultimate flex.
Gotta diversify that portfolio
The phone bit was hilarious 😂😂😂
Pizza hut opened a chain in my town like 10 years ago now that was just at the side of the road, round the corner from a dominos with a massive car park right outside. Sheer laziness alone must’ve cost them millions. It didn’t last long.
Mind you, Pizza Hut is making a profit, unlike SpaceX
Quality went down and delivery rates are almost 10 dollars. They even got rid of most of their drivers in favor of door dash. Yeah, I'm not spending 30 dollars for a personal pan and some wings.
Pizza hut and gyms actually makes sense. You put just them in one building. Thats the perpetuum mobile of profits.
