Reductions are very dependant on time. Lots usually do it towards the evening around 5/6pm or 8pm. Not that many in the morning which may have been why you found it hard to find things. As always love your videos Grace!✨️

When I was at uni, I had friends who would go a bit before closing time and they would get loads of super discounted products.

When I was a student they opened up a new Waitrose near me and for whatever reason they seemed to have issues getting their stocking levels correct so if you went in the evening it was an absolute bonanza, don't think I paid full price for any baked goods or bread for the best part of a year.

I remember the days when minimum reduction was like 50% and you had people waiting near the reduction area 😂

Love this video! I really like the concept and it’s fun seeing you try new things that you like. Would love to see you make more meals on a set budget for the week or maybe even a month.

you kind have to go late in the evening around 7/8pm to find any "good" deals on reduced food, just a couple hours before they close for the day, especially with the likes of morrisons, tesco and sainsbury

I work at an M&S, we reduce foods after the store closes in the evenings, so all the reduced items are on the shelves first thing in the morning when the shop opens. Except fruits and sandwiches are done in the afternoons!!

If you have a Co-op card, you can sometimes get extra money off with the app / card on top of the reduced cost. Win win!

Love this, turned from 'budget friendly, saving food from the brink of being chucked away' to 'I'm trying things I wouldn't usually pick up'. What a fun time!

Morrisons are the absolute best for yellow stickers. They normally have a bunch of stuff for under a pound. My freezer hasnt been the same since our local one shut down.

This really is boring, it's not even a challenge. Anyone can live off yellow sticker food. Do your research and create some decent content.

Grack needs a fur baby. You won't get the best options and reductions on yellow stickers until the evening. I do agree with you though that the best deals can be found in M&S and Waitrose. They reduce their stuff really well once the second reductions are made. You can often get s ready meal for £1. We got a Charlie Bigham lasagne for 2 people in Waitrose the other day for £1.35

here in Australia we get pretty good deals on many things if you go shopping in the evening, but the best deal I had was a pre-made noodle salad (a generous size too). It was down to 99c from $12 and had two days left on the use by! was super delish!

I shop online for my weekly shop. More and more these days I'm being delivered 'yellow labelled ' food, a day or 2 before sell by date. Fine if you can freeze the food. Not so good for fresh fruit and veg. x

13:30 wait, you said there was loads on offer, so much that you don’t even have any space for it…. and then 13:50 you went to a whole other store and complained there weren’t any options 😭

Grace, if you go close to closing time, the difference between the original price and discounted is really significant and really crazy cheap to like pennies!!
