The announcers are smoking a bit too much. They ask, “Did he step on the bag in time?” There is zero doubt he stepped on the bag in time. The closer thing was did he still have his foot on the bag when he fielded it. I think he did, but it was far closer than the announcer’s proclamation. I didn’t see this live, but I presume the call on the field was a double play. Nice play!

That’s a pretty average double play for a top rated third baseman.
