I worked in the special needs/adaptive department of a gym/ waterpark. We had a high number of people with disabilities that wanted to go. Its one of the only exceptions we make for the one at a time is person with a disability can sit with a caregiver on the slide. We also had radios if lifeguard wasn’t comfortable or needed assistance in the adaptive situations :)
