I was a manager of a pub that sat on the banks of the Thames in Wolvercote in Oxford and we had so many resident peacocks, peahens and ducks! I loved sitting with my feet dangling over the river on a sunny morning before the pub opened, drinking my coffee, listening to the peacocks chattering and feeding the ducks. There was a little one legged duck that swam in circles that I had a soft spot for 😂 There must have been over 5 peacocks that just freely roamed the grounds...sometimes a little too freely as one LOUDLY chased a pregnant me through the inside of the pub 😂😂 I miss those days
