Hes actually so much more tolerable than the others. The bar is so low it reaches the center of the earth.
No one seem to point it out but Reiji used the middle finger while adjusting his glasses so it seems to me like he's constantly giving us the middle finger whenever he's being smug.

Honestly he is the only character i can see being seen as romantic in any way, is a low fuxking bar but at least i can see it becoming non toxic down the line
I could have never expected Reiji to be such a upgrade when compared to the triplets... I had never dared to watch more about his route because I thought it was going to be full of kinky spanking* stuff... and that makes me uncomfortable af. But turns out he is actually really funny 😭😭, like, he is so corny yet he comes up with the best insults and one-liners sometimes and its just hilarious, I enjoyed watching Leo playing through this route ngl!
Interesting fact! Reiji's route is the only one where there was no sexual intercourse between the characters (it's hard to say about the afterstory because of the vague hints)

The worst part about this game, or best, is that literature wise, vampires are toxic lovers. So it's actually vampire lore accurate given media like Dracula, Carmilla, Interview with the Vampire, etc. That they act like this.

Reiji's route is so much better than Ayato's, and I'm not even talking about it having far fewer sa things, but even in terms of story it's much more interesting. It's funny that in her own son's route, Cordelia has practically no importance.
The fact I came out of this liking Reiji is really saying something about these terrible love interests.

I despise the tsundere trope. Most people grow out of that "being mean to their crush" phase before they finish elementary school and anyone who doesn't needs to be evaluated.
It's so funny that Reiji is always so low on the popularity polls (Same with Azusa, which I believe doesn't abuse Yui as much either since he's a masochist). The girls playing these games want the Laito experience unfortunately.
I can't believe the guy who whips and "poisons" you without consent is the most tolerable so far. It's insane how low the bar is. He somehow is the least toxic yet.
