In today's cosy cottage vlog, I'm tackling some of those little decorating jobs that slowly make a house feel more like home. The day begins with a slight panic clean as I prepare for a visit from a company measuring up for window treatments. With samples, swatches and fabric books spread across the kitchen table, I'm trying to decide what style will work best in the space and finally make a decision on the windows. Later, I head out for a little browse and discover some lovely budget-friendly home decor finds, from farmhouse-inspired pieces to coastal Nancy Meyers style touches that caught my eye. I also stop by a garden centre in search of terracotta pots for a summer display in the living room, bringing a little bit of the garden indoors and adding some seasonal styling to the cottage. If you enjoy cosy home vlogs, decorating inspiration, cottage interiors, home styling, and realistic renovation updates, I hope you enjoy spending the day with me. My Grandma lived across the street. She only liked our cat, Tabby. Tabby would scratch on Grandma's front door, Grandpa would let him in and he would walk like a king up to Grandma in her chair. She would speak to him and pet him, then he would walk on into the kitchen by the fridge. Grandma would follow and get him a little piece of butter or ground beef and roll either in her hands "to warm it" and he would take it in his mouth. Eating would commence, then back to the front door with the same stately walk and out the door til next time. Every day. Lol. I witnessed it. 😊

The mantle is so sweet! Love..
Good idea with the bee prints on either side and keeping a lookout for something perfect for the middle. The mantel is simple but elegant.
