There weren’t even any script writers or a director. These guys just showed up every week and improvised an entire show.

Reginald and Jaleel were phenomenal together! So talented and funny the both of them

The car actually improvised the door being at the front. In the script it was meant to be on the side but when the car opened from the front the director liked it so much he kept it in the final cut

That kid stole the show the moment he arrived. You could literally see the writers changing gears afterwards.

Funny part is, if you pull up too far, you're screwed. It has no reverse!

What gets me was Jaleel White played Steve Urkel for 10 years. It altered his real-life voice pitch. He had to adjust his voice to meet network standards.
