It’s no secret that it rewards you to be patient…wait a year and get it much cheaper plus it’s patched into a less buggy and much better state

This was a video I put a lot of effort into (and so did our editors), making the case that games should cost $15-30 on average and top out at $50. With advancements in technology and technique, teams of hundreds with budgets of hundreds of millions are just totally unnecessary to make a high-quality, worthwhile AAA-equivalent experience.

The price of everything is increasing and the income is not, lower priority commodities suffer.

People are struggling to pay rent and buy food. Things like new games are taking a back seat to surviving.

$60 was already enough to make me think twice about buying games. $70 has been absurd from day 1.

Too expensive. I need to eat first. I rarely if ever buy a new game. I wait for them to be on sale.

I've got 30+ games on my steam wishlist but I won't buy one until it's at LEAST 50% off.

1. Game price keep increasing while my salary didn't 2. Game no longer good out-of-the-box as a norm but have to wait 3-9 months for updates

Backlog, life is expensive, a lot of games are just remasters or soulless.
