We wake up surrounded by donkeys before leaving our peaceful campsite and heading towards Cheddar Gorge for a new motorhome adventure in Elvis. Before arriving, we make a spontaneous stop in Cornwall at the famous Electric Bakery — but things don’t quite go to plan. After beach walks, bakery hauls, and breakfast baps, the journey takes a stressful turn when Google Maps sends us down tiny country lanes, leading to damage to Elvis and one very tense encounter on the road. Once we finally arrive in Cheddar, we explore the stunning Cheddar Gorge cliffs, climb Jacob’s Ladder, walk the famous gorge trails, meet wild goats, and explore the incredible caves hidden beneath the cliffs. We also try authentic cave-aged cheddar, visit the famous cheese shops, and even taste cheddar cheese ice cream for the first time. Back at the motorhome, the weather changes quickly, and we decide to head home early before Elvis goes in for an important habitation check. ⇢ PATREON - https://patreon.com/thelodgeguys ⇢ YOUTUBE MEMBERSHIP - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8QDV7GIjoe0yIW2EwJ9WJw/join ⇢ INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/thelodgeguys/ ⇢ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/thelodgeguys/ ⇢ MEMMO FOR SHOUTOUTS - https://memmo.me/gb/en/profile/the-lodge-guys-leigh-and-nick ⇢ CAMEO FOR SHOUTOUTS - https://www.cameo.com/thelodgeguys ⇢ LODGE GUYS EXTRAS (second channel): https://goo.gl/YvZK3b ⇢ OUR BLOG - http://blog.thelodgeguys.com ⇢ AMAZON STORE FRONT: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/thelodgeguys ⇢ LINKTREE: https://linktr.ee/thelodgeguys ⇢ EMAIL: [email protected] #thelodgeguys #travel

Don't see how she damaged anything. The trailer was stationary and you were the moving vehicle. So any damage is down to your driving and vehicle positioning. Also why don't you buy a map rather than relying on the sat nav all the time.
As a trucker we always say wing mirrors are our whiskers, and they are easy to replace. My nav takes my height, length and weight to keep me on the correct roads.
Not exactly Trashed the van, a slight scratch.
Hi guys, i would always the sat nav suitable for the motorhome and think about investing in some wing mirror covers, great video despite the anxiety that you both must of had driving down them narrow lanes
The way you drive Elvis reminds me of how my 90 year old grandmother drives her 1974 Cadillac . . . she's lost two hubcaps, a side mirror and the car's antennae . . . but she's legally blind and no longer has a valid license.
I drive a truck and always use Google maps as it's the best. (I have tried every navigation app) Just set it to avoid B roads and don't set it to the fastest route as you'll end up on narrow lanes.
Enjoyed watching your vlog! Thanks for taking us along.
I wish Nick was more fun. He is always so serious
Garmin camper sat nav. Set height weight and width and off you go. Google maps is not the way in a motorhome.
Thanks for showing us another interesting place to visit. It's always fun traveling with you two.
Great vlog. Shame about the van damage. Great trip though.😊
Have mentioned cheddar gorge to my daughter as she loves mad walks xx
Enjoyed the Vlog Guys. That camera on the stick gives some good shots.
Great vlog as always. Oh I love cheese I wouldnt have liked the cheese ice cream though. Sorry your van/home got damaged ❤x❤x
So close to me , but yet so far ….I live not far from Cheddar, would love to have met you guys ❤
Another stressful bit of footage. I used to watch your vlogs to relax 😊 Have you tried setting your Maps options to Fuel Efficient (instead of shortest or fastest) - that might reduce taking you down narrow lanes.
You all shook up ,❤
The Castle Bude is amazing for cream tea
I went to cheddar for the first time privs it a couple of weeks after you did. My cousins were visiting and we went at the end of May. We enjoyed it. We had lunch at Cafe Gorge, very tasty quiche. We did the cheese tasting. I loved the vintage cheddar the best.
