that story segment rant is legendary. FNAF 4's story has been thrown in a blender and is now unsolvable, we don't even know the NAME of our main character crying child and we are still debating that to this day.

Crackpot theory: Fnaf 4 is the nightmares of both Mike and the Crying child. The movies revealed that ghosts can enter and alter dreams and drag their memories into those dreams. Therefore, the nightmares could be the crying child’s, but after his death, he haunts mikes dreams as a form of revenge to show him what he did

Ngl. Picturing Little Pastra losing his shit over Nightmare Foxy and Dadstra holding up his phone with that classic dad stare of "I don't get it but the kid loves it so bear with it" is both funny and very wholesome

My headcanon theory for FNaF 4 was and always will be that it was an allegory for bullying and isolation, Scott's take on how extreme the trauma of being ostracized and overlooked can be. The brother and his friends are the nightmares most obviously but it goes deeper I feel. "Four games, one story" isn't meant to say "this is all one plot", its supposed to be read as four games telling the same story. A story of loneliness, of people being left to fend for themselves, of trying to move forward despite the horror of your situation or circumstance. The box represents being shut out, being forbidden or barred from having answers or aid. What's in the box? Probably peace, an out to the nightmare. If I had my red string and tack on hand I would go more in-depth. This isn't airtight, but no FNaF theory ever is.

Pastra, can I just say I love this video series? I joined the fandom after Secret of the Mimic and I caught up on the story before I played any of the old games, but hearing your experiences almost makes me feel like I was there. It’s like I’m experiencing the magic I’ve heard so much about from this fandom through you. Genuinely, thank you for this series!

Honestly, I love the idea of having to deal with the animatronics not in their restaurant but anywhere else. It not only expands the world of the games by having us deal with them outside of their personal ground but it also creates a new horror into the story. You thought you would be safe from them at home, at your school, anywhere, because you think they will only stick around their home. But no. They managed to get out and will hunt you whenever you are, no place will protect you from potential attackers, giving a new level of horror to Freddy and his gang.
