Love to see chillest doctor and firefighter duo vibing together
I've seen people refer to this as the Scubs paradox. Comedy gets to be real in a way drama just can't.
The fact the one he finds the most accurate is a comedy and his least favorite is one supposed to be taken more seriously is saying a lot.
Seeing Jason not playing a character is very odd, but I'm here for it
Tbh, this is the perfect duo I never thought would happen. Thank you to both of these gentlemen. Edit: Hey thanks for so many likes! It means a lot! But had to say what was the facts tho.
What a great day for Tacoma FD fans
With how he described station 19, im surprised i havent seen him put himself in any of the scenes like he's done with 911 lone star 😂
Between Scrubs and Tacoma FD it is interesting how the TV shows held to be the most accurate by actual professionals tend to be the comedies.
I straight up thought “baste the turkey” was a weird double-entendre 🤣🤣🤣
What's funny is it would not take these shows that much to hire on a consulting firefighter to make sure they're getting some of the stuff right.
Baste the turkey... well you gotta give them props for creativity at least. There has to be somewhere I can use this term....
Reminds me, my dad always said Barney Miller was the most accurate cop show on tv. I think because comedies show the mundane parts of the job, and also, real life is never 100% serious.
Its hilarious how the comedy shows are more accurate than the drama obsessed ones. Like how Scrubs, despite being a sitcom, is widely touted as one of the most accurate hospital shows ever
I want to know what he feels or thinks about 911 and 911 Nashville Edit: thank you everyone who told me that he talked about the 911 franchises. Much appreciated 😊
Who up basting they turkeys rn 🔥
The comedies get it the best. Code 3 is the single most accurate EMS film ever. Every single call in it. Every one. Was something I've done. It brought out a really strong PTSD flashback with the veteran and the cop, putting me right back in my class 2's in an intersection at 0100 screaming at a Tacoma PD cop "DON'T SHOOT HE'S HARMLESS" and just holding my breath in an agnostic prayer that the officer wouldn't make a bad situation a fatal one for the person very aggressively stomping his way directly at him. Even the very end where he flipped on the lights for the last time... I did that too, seeing the unique way your lights reflect off the buildings and signs and knowing that you'll never see it again, the huge piece of yourself that you sacrificed to help others. That it made a difference in the world that you'll never be thanked or remembered for, but knowing you did it because it needed to be done. And that the next day, you'll be gone from it forever but it'll keep going like always. I was crying. At a damn comedy. Twist at the end was goofy and dumb but other than that it was 100.0% accurate to real life in EMS.
this is the best duo known to man
Also I love how these two guys almost can give us both sides of medical treatment. Jason with emergencies and transporting to doctor Mike talking about how it works once they get into the hospital and visiting him. Absolutely debunking all misinformation in shows. More Mike and Jason!!!!!
Love to see chillest doctor and firefighter duo vibing together ....
I want to know how the firefighter feels about Chicago Fire. I see that Mike finds Chicago Med to not be entirely accurate, so I am thinking the firefighter might find Chicago Fire to be 50/50, in terms of accuracy.
