There is a secret way to play Close Air Support in War Thunder, and it is Far out (pun intended). By taking the AV-8B Harrier and using its VTOL capabilities, you can hover 5 kilometers directly above the enemy spawn. Because you are sitting perfectly still in the stratosphere, you are completely invisible to radar and you're completely out of range them hearing your engines. The sad part... IRL the Harrier can't do this... as the STOVL systems lock out the weapons when in hovemode (as it's designed for landing or take-off). And even if it could... you'd get maybe 3min before the Pegasus engine cooks itself. That doesn't mean it's not funny as heck btw XD
