no Fomo honestly makes the game so much more fun
DON'T STOP GUARDIANS. WE MAKE OUR OWN FATE!!!!! WE HAVE PLENTY OF CONTENT
The fomo being gone is the best thing thats ever happened to this game
Yeah, no more fomo and being able to celebrate memories were the reasons I came back. I can play whenever and not have to worry about another season resetting progress.
This had made me realize that sunsetting weapons, vaulting content, and FOMO destroyed the game slowly.

I was never the strongest Warlock, and I never had one of those crazy meta builds that melted everything in seconds. But that never mattered to me. What mattered was the feeling Destiny gave me every time I logged in. I wasn’t one of the Day One veterans from the original Destiny. I joined Destiny 1 much later, but I got Destiny 2 during its launch month and instantly fell in love with it. Every time I started the game, I felt at home. Whether I was exploring new destinations, chasing loot, or simply wandering around the Tower, Destiny always had a way of making my day a little better. One of my biggest regrets is that I never completed a raid. I always worried about being a burden to the team or making mistakes. Looking back, I probably should have tried anyway. But even without raids, I still managed to create countless memories and enjoy every expansion, every season, and every adventure. What truly made Destiny special wasn’t just the game itself it was the community. The discussions, the theories, the excitement before new releases, the shared victories and frustrations. For nearly a decade, Guardians from all over the world built something unique together. Even though some DLCs have been controversial and their quality has sometimes been questioned, I still refuse to delete Destiny 2 from my PS5. No matter how much storage space I need, Destiny stays. There are games I enjoy, and then there’s Destiny. I don’t know if we’ll ever get a Destiny 3. Maybe we will, maybe we won’t. But if one day Bungie calls us back for another journey, if one day we meet again among the stars of Destiny 3, then I’ll be there.
I haven't played since Lightfall, and now I've been on every day since then. I've been genuinely enjoying the return, and there is SO much to do
The entire entertainment industry is obsessed with sequels and spinoffs, and we, here, somehow, cannot get one for a era defining IP.
the fact that Destiny has over 10x Marathons players right now speaks volumes

Sony: "WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE PLAYING MARATHON??????"
Now imagine how much better it would have been if they put back all the content they took away
2:01 cant lie, as soon as I got on with the homies I said, now we can just play the game again
When the higher ups said "we gotta stop over delivering" i knew it was starting to end.
Love the type of players that have returned to the game, just did a touch of malice catalyst run in Kings Fall and it was by far the most chill and welcoming raid I've ever done
Sunsetting is what truely doomed destiny imo. There’s so many people out there like me that do not tolerate ts and just stopped playing entirely and never came back.
We want Destiny to stay ALIVE. SONY.
I agree, to much FOMO is exhausting. A tiny amount of FOMO is healthy.
Deep stone lullaby came on at 1 am last night after a renegade campaign mission. So many memories came back :(
