"The bowblade is at the very end of the dlc" Me, digging a suspiciously Simon-shaped grave at the very beginning of the hunters nightmare: "Uh, yeah. True. That is when you normally get it."
Fear the Old Blood Rusty
I can't wait till the film drops and we get "Oh God, he's ranking every shot from the Bloodborne movie" two weeks after
14:50 my theory for why people think the rifle spear is worse then parasite, is that most people probably forget the Parasite is a weapon in the first place.
*ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS:* • Obligatory "couldn't-cram-every-last-detail" disclaimer, but this video could've easily been twice its current length with how complicated any single moveset or build can get. I'll try and give some attention to any other insights or corrections that appear in the comments. • The "Best Gem Effects" sections that preface each weapon are based off of that weapon's unique qualities like moveset, range, and damage type. It doesn't take into account whatever else you're stacking it up with, but does give a good foundation. • I know this will come up so I'll just say: Yes, Boom Hammer is still one of my favorite weapons... It would *really* be my favorite if it actually let me turn it into a fire-only weapon. Some supplemental pages I used a lot: BLOOD GEMS: /p/blood-gems.html HIDDEN DAMAGE RULES: /2016/04/hidden-damage-rules-for-every-weapon.html SCALING: /2017/05/scaling.html VISCERAL ATTACKS: /2015/03/visceral-attacks.html
6:26 — Amygdalan Arm's transformed mode does have the advantage that it is _surprisingly_ good in thin corridors, because _it DOESN'T get attacks cancelled when it collides with walls it hits._ Because of that, it's surprisingly helpful in a lot of places in Chalice dungeons where most bigger weapons can really struggle. Probably not enough to move it up much in the list, but felt it was worth pointing out nonetheless.
1. The Kirkland Signature
Something extremely important you didn’t mention about Chikage is that if you use the charged R2 DURING the transform animation, it *massively* reduces your HP consumed and charges it much faster, also that the follow-up R2 doesn’t consume any HP either despite being nearly as strong as the first draining R2. Basically, doing a raw charged R2 almost never crosses your mind once you learn the “iai style” R2’s extreme usefulness. (Oh and the first R1 during transformation sheath is also stronger as a bonus) You can keep on going L1 transform > R2 > R2 > L1 revert > L1 transform > R2… just relying on the sheer damage of it without too much strain on your hp this way. It’s absolutely phenomenal on particularly the Chalice bosses due to the sheer loaded Blood damage
I just really like the Threaded Cane. Stylish, good crowd control with the whip form, and almost every attack is useful.
Honestly good disclaimer at the start about the weapons being equal, I was ready to riot when I saw bowblade at 17 and then looked at timestamps and saw you still put it in A tier so I'll accept it
Ok he’s done the video, now Sony can announce the Bloodborne remake to completely invalidate this list
05:52 I like the theory that Amygdala learned from the hunters after seeing them use one of its arms and like "hold up that might actually work"
JOINED FOR BLOODBORNE STAYED FOR THE EVENTUAL RETURN. I AM LUDWIGS HOLY SCOOTER
In 10,000 years Bloodborne will get a remaster and all the old Bloodborne content creators will rise from their graves and will summon a tidal wave of weapon tier list and challenge run videos.
30:56 since the DLC is like, a nightmare made to punish the old hunters, my guess is she abandoned it in real life, but the nightmare forced it back into her hands. And then it exists in the memory of the fishing hamlet, because that is similarly a memory, and not the real place.
Bruh seeing the amygdalan arm ranked so low under both the rifle spear and stake driver absolutely breaks my heart 😢💔
I’m just waiting for the day when he starts ranking stats. A Bloodborne upload on this channel feels odd but welcomed.
I think you're undersellling the Amygdala Arm here. The normal mode can stunlock most things with its R1 spam, in exchange for short range, and the charged R2 follow up can break most enemy stance. The trick mode has great range and can crowd control with its wide swipes, it doesn't bounce on wall so usable in tight spaces, the initial R2 attack counts as Pierce damage, and the transform L1 into normal mode is a slam that pancake enemies and has a high rally multiplier The backstep attacks of both forms are pretty nice too, the normal one having forward momentum, and the trick one having good reach and the R2 is also a piercing attack. It's also the rare weapon that has some hyperarmor during certain attacks You can certainly just buff it with physical gems, but I've built it with Abyssal Heavy + Nourishing + Tempering gems, and done a few NG+ runs with it as it's very versatile with its varied movesets
Hearing Rusty praise the wheel knowing he had 2 seperate rankings talking about how meh it was years ago feels like real character growth
Brother broke into the kitchen again and made the same meal once more. (Keep cooking, king.)
