For anyone wondering no, the developer of that game is NOT the same developer of bad parenting (they’re complete two different people)

Is it just me or does the artstyle give off vibes from 'Bad Parenting'?

SPOILER ALERT!! its so sad how it initially paints the mom as a bad person for leaving the kids, but as you progress through the story you see the full picture. The dad was the antagonist all along. He killed the mom, but he didnt have the guts to kill the kids so he just left them in the house to starve 💔💔

bro the scene where jun tries to give miko the dirt as cake reminds me of that scene in Grave of the Fireflies where the little sister was hallucinating the food....

The small detail of the background of the Home Screen changing at the end breaks my heart. At the beginning of the game they’re trapped in the house and at the end of the game they’re in a peaceful calm background because they both died man I’m crying this hurts my heart

I did a mini research. The dev of this game and the Kacipbara game is made by a Malaysian dev (from my country). And no, this game isn't related to Bad Parenting. It could be an inspiration perhaps. Kudos to Jay for playing a game made by someone from our country 🇲🇾

If you think about the watermelon and the date, watermelon goes off after a few days. I think miko was getting so sick he was accidentally feeding his sister spoiled food too and he wasn’t aware because he was so malnourished.

This kinda reminds me of the boy where his neck got snapped in half by his dad. ☹️☹️ And also as a middle kid, everytime my parents are away, i always take charge at everything. Making food for my younger brother and my 2 more older siblings. It's jus unfair how my older siblings gets away with everything while I'm just dealing with the whole house as a 14 y/o.

This game took inspiration of a studio ghilbi movie where the brother was working the entire day to buy some food for his sister and himself, and at the end of the movie his little sister was sucking on marbles thinking it was candy and was trying to give his brother some but when the brother hands her some food(maybe a watermelon) she just dies with the piece of food in her mouth.
