You've reached the end
Arman is right, he was so confident he didn't even use his jabs and timing... He just wanted to ko him .. ego got to him
Please give arman a title shot π
Illia literally said to his corner after that round "I'm done". Justin didn't just win he borke his spirit
His face was destroyed i/e broken bones. His soul was rocked. That a as a BRUTAL loss.
Habib said it ...Justin hit like a truck, nobody hit like Justin
he needed this
Pride comes before a fall. Always remember to say humble
That was a mental beatdown, el matador will never be the same
Quitting in the stool is a lot worse than ref stoppage KO
Those body shots sounded terrifying to be fair
People are so ignorant. 17-1 and treated like a clown for just 1 loss. Edit: I perfectly understand it sounds super cocky. But it's called "manifesting". He was super criticized for doing that earlier, then he started winning and even Rogan gave him credit. I am no fan, I just found his "believe in yourself/manifesting" thing really inspiring, as it has been discussed over and over, used by many athletes, and it has been personally working for me in real life. Being cocky attracts hate, but we can't deny numbers. 17-1 is a big achievement, is absurd that one loss suddenly makes you a nobody on socials.
I definitely wouldn't call that quitting. That fight should have been stopped before it could get to that point. Way too dangerous to send him out for a 5th round.
NEVER underestimate your opponent
This loss was somehow worst than a flat KO
Pride comes before a fall
Going toe to toe with a mexican/German was a bad ideaπ
Imagine winning $5.7m on a successful hate watch. Bro's winning life ππ» π
Ilia told his corner hes done ilia quit no rematch
"Do you feel like he quit?" No, it's not a *feeling* we literally saw it happen. Understandably so given he probably had a broken orbital bone and AT LEAST a rib or two after that knee to end the fourth round. No dishonor to Ilia for wanting to save himself any more unnecessary and career-ending injury; I feel like it's a good thing for fighters to focus on longevity instead of foolish pride when they have basically no chance to turn a fight around. But he did quit.
Just like khabib said justin hit like truck, but what surprised me how did Topuria survive those shot most fighter would have been knockout with those kind of shot
