Thank you for sharing your mom experience. I feel like I’ve been going through this same realization that my house will never be fully clean and things will never be perfect! In the process of relinquishing control and unlearning the toxic productivity mentality. Our babies are only this little once for a very short period of time. They deserve a non stressed mom!

My hat is off to you Julia. When you said that when you are with your kids you are not on your phone or letting a movie babysit them, etc. I know you are absolutely telling the truth. How do I know? Both of your children are VERY communicative and advanced. You can tell by their language skills, body and face expressions, vocabulary, etc that they are getting a ton of human interaction and time spent on teaching them. When I see kids that are not advanced in their communication at these ages, it’s because the parents are not spending the real face to face or verbal time with their kids. This is totally different than just being in the same room with them all day. I see it Julia. And it’s awesome. It’s extremely hard work. But it makes a HUGE difference in shaping these people.
