MARVEL, DO YOU WANT TOKON OR MVC?! Edit: To everyone saying that why not both at the same time, do you know why not all marvel movies release at the same time? Because if they did, people would have to choose which one, which would hurt the sales, and it’s the same with fighting games, because if Tokon releases and right after MVC gets released, everyone will abandon Tokon or the new MVC could be worse than Tokon so it doesn’t sell well. It’s way smarter for them to separate them for a few years so that they both make a lot of profit.

For those wondering about the nitty-gritty: the variable that determines whether or not Dark Phoenix activates was accidentally changed from "equals 5 bars of super meter" to "greater than 5 bars of super meter". The game is looking for more than 5 meters worth of the integer that counts how much super meter you have, which is obviously impossible because it caps at 5 bars lol
Well it would be funny if this was done in order to port it to Nintendo Switch 2.
Fun fact: The Steam version, which is just a straight port from the console version, has no way of disabling your microphone. If you have a microphone plugged in, it's on. If you have an integrated microphone in your laptop, you have to go into your Windows Device Manager and disable the hardware. They never fixed that.
