Many years ago, I made a visit to a lady i only new thru a relative....I left my bag and coat in the kitchen while I was in her garden. Wen I got home I found money missing from my purse. I had just been to the bank so I new it was all there. I told my relative but nothing came of it. Now I don't leave my bag alone....

I went to a private high school and I was a scholarship kid. With all that entails. I made a friend and she was very kind to me but I noticed that when I would visit, her mother would follow me around and clean everything I touched. It's been more than 50 years and I still remember the anger and the bitter taste of shame.

😮...wow!! If I ever moved into a new neighborhood, I am never greeting any neighbors. I am walking with my head straight and if our eyes made 4, I'll give a 1.5 seconds Hi, then dissappear from sight. I'm an introvert btw😂 and that behavior has saved my skin and name a lot. 🎉

I experienced high level of racism during my visit to USA in May. Earlier visits were not so bad. In general economic situation in US is driving people up the wall and they are venting their anger in form of racism

Growing up in the 90s Helsinki i learnt after 2 separate visits to 2 different classmates homes. NEVER AGAIN. 1. FAMILY WHO I OVER HEARD SAID ALL BLACKS ARE THIEVES. THEY WERE FINNS. 2. FAMILY SISTER TOLD ME SHE WOULD KILL ME IF I SPOKE TO HER BROTHER, THEY WERE VIETNAMESE. i was 8yrs old. What i learnt is, it doesnt matter the culture, they all believe in some silly destructive ideas, but to this date i feel very uncomfortable visiting friends families...im 40. 😑😑😑😑😑
