What would you do if you lost 20 years of your life in just one second? That’s exactly what happens to Stephanie Conway – the most popular cheerleader in high school. It’s 2002. The big state championship. The biggest pyramid stunt of her life. The boy who was supposed to catch her? He hesitates. But before he can even move, another girl – jealous, angry, and tired of being in Stephanie’s shadow – gives him a hard shove. Wrong place. Wrong time. Stephanie falls. Headfirst. The gym goes silent. Then screaming. She doesn't wake up. Fast forward twenty years. Stephanie opens her eyes in a hospital bed. The year is now 2022. Her best friends have grown up. Her boyfriend is married. Her parents have aged decades overnight. And the girl who pushed her? She’s now the principal of their old high school. But here’s where the story takes an insane turn: Stephanie refuses to accept her new reality. She puts on her old cheerleading uniform – even though she’s 37 years old – and re-enrolls as a senior. TikTok, iPhones, social media, woke culture… none of it makes sense. But one thing hasn’t changed: she still wants her prom queen crown, her squad, and her revenge. The movie is funny, chaotic, and surprisingly emotional. It’s not just about a woman reliving her glory days – it’s about realizing that the past is gone, and that true growing up means letting go. Can Stephanie score the winning routine? Can she forgive the girl who destroyed her life? And most importantly… can a 37-year-old pass high school chemistry? Whether you love cheerleading movies, time-jump comedies, or just want to watch someone absolutely destroy a 2022 high school culture with 2002 attitude – Senior Year is wild ride. One fall. Two decades. Second chance. The girls pushed the boy so they should be charged for attempted murder
The actor they got for young her was really accurate
i love her waking up after two decades with a perfect hairdo
Cheerleading is actually the most dangerous sport a kid can do in US high schools.
I couldn't imagine missing out on 20 years of my own life
if she was in a coma for almost 2 decades how can she walk?
She is lucky. I lost more than that
The movie is called senior year on Netflix!
So romantic how were all here rn❤❤
Lowkey kinda sad tho imagine being young and you are so happy and loved the moment you were in the air and woke up after a coma
Good movie. When I was a teenager I was a cheerleader and something simalar happened to me. Thankfully I didn't go into a coma though! This girl who pretended to be my best friend talked me into trying out with her. We both made the team and I was chosen as a flyer and my "friend" was big mad about that. Thats the position she wanted and I actually didn't want it at all but I'm who the coach wanted and I didnt have a choice if I wanted to stay on the team, my friend fully expected me to quit after that.. She was chosen as one of the girls holding my feet which enraged her even more apparently. We were at practice right before the game, thankfully on a mat and when they tossed me she very obviously pretended to loose her balance and fall into the back catcher. The other girl on my feet luckily still attempted to catch me. We both got a little banged up but were thankfully fine and so happy it happened on the mat because I hit my head pretty hard. It was chaulked up to an accident because the coach hadnt seen what happened just the other cheerleaders til all the other girl came forward to the coach to tell them "my friend" had been trying to turn all the girls against me and telling them they should all drop me and say it was an accident so I would get hurt and have to be taken off the team, they presumed she was just joking out of jeliousy and told her that wasn't funny. She even said stuff along the lines of a broken leg would be good enough but a broken neck would be better.. this is the girl I was best friends with for years! And nothing had happened between us, no fights or anything. She got kicked off the team for the year and her mom came in raising hell calling me all sorts of names as if I had done it constantly mentioning I didnt even want to be a cheerleader, the coach actually stood up for me and said well I was alot better at it than her malicious jelious psychopath daughter who needs serious help and they should be lucky nobody was seriously injured and that my parents didn't have the girl arrested. That shut her up. The girl waited a little while then finally apologized to me that it was a dumb mistake and she didnt really intend to hurt me she was just upset her best friend would steal her "dream" and wanted an apology FROM ME for that. Like wtf. I did not apologize and just told her I forgave her and assumed she realized I did not want to be friends anymore though but she tried to act like things were cool between us, trying to walk with me in the halls and asking me to hangout🤦♀️it was awkward because we had alot of the same friends so were still around each other alot. she really was like sort of under the surface crazy though. A few years later(our other best friend- we were like a trio) had this guy she dated and was so in love with-first love but then friend had moved away and her and the guy were still seeing each other on weekends well this girl became obsessed with him following him around all the time and just drooling over him and anybody he dated was always a close friend of his. Other bfriend and guy broke up not wanting to deal with the long distance. He told me all the time he was not into the crazy girl and was very embarrassed by how much she threw herself at him, he was very obviously with her he did not want a relationship like that with her, his ex's best friend whom he still hung out with.. well he graduates and went to the local college and we are seniors. I guess they seen each other at a party on a drunken night he doesnt remember and they slept together at his apt, something he truely regretted. She wouldn't leave.. she had attempted to move in and behaved like they were dating. He felt like a jerk because he knew she liked him alot and they slept together he just tried pushing her away for 2weeks til she tried to move in, not asking just showing up a bunch of her things, keep in mind they never slept together or any kissing or anything after that 1 night, anytime she tried he acted real awkward and got away. Well at that point he sat her down and "broke up with her" nicely telling her he was drunk and didn't remember that night and he didnt know how to let her down easy but should have done it sooner. She got furious. Told him if he didnt stop would tell everyone he beat her up, he still told her she had to go. She left and did attempt to tell ppl that, no one really believed it. Then next thing you know she shows up to his place to say she was pregnant with his baby.. and her mom kicked her out because of it and she needed a place to stay. Hes not an asshole so he allowed her to and eventually they did start dating to "do the right thing" well come to find out she made the whole thing up, she was not pregnant and her mom did not kick her out. She actually tried to go to the police to bring her back home like a run away because she was only 17 but police refuaed to do anythibg about it at that age. During the first few montha she was trying to get him to marry her cl
this is a really funny movie. i watched it on netflix a couple months ago. it was really funny but it also had lots of explicit language but other than that it was really good.
If she just woke up from a coma of 20 years she wouldn't be able to move , her muscles wouldn't work, but she wakes up like she just took a 20-minute nap. yeah okay
That's kinda like max
Muscle atrophy would prevent walking
Why did they push the guy away
Ma’am it’s a mirror 😂
A “ stare bear.” Is hilarious lol 😂😂😂
Movie?
If someone was in a coma for even 6 months they could not walk right away. Muscle atrophy when not used. I appreciate the movie but sometimes I get fed up with all the ƁS.
