I did think that bathroom was very plain by Chinese standards compared to the dinning room, especially for a suite, and then you found the second one with all the gold and I went "there it is 🙂↕🙂↕"

We accidentally got an owner’s suite cabin back in the pre-internet days. WE were going on a cruise with 2 young boys, and the 2 year old still slept in our bed, between us, so my only priority was getting a cabin with a king size bed. When we got the confirmation there were a lot of alphabet letters on it but as I looked at them it looked to me like they had assigned us to a cabin with 2 sets of bunk beds. My secretary spent some time checking back, and I was right. I went ballistic. It was the furthest thing from my requested room. So they told me that the only room with king beds was the owner suite, but that costed more. I said I don’t even know what this room costs, but we won’t be able to do anything at all without a king bed. No one will sleep. It wasn’t as elaborate as yours, but was nearly 2200 square feet, at the front of the ship, with a lovely lady from Sweden who took care of us and one more room. Same sort of VIP boarding experience. They were pointing people one way or another, but when they saw our passes, things changed quickly. Whistles blew, guys ran, and any bags we were towing were taken, we had people leading and following us. That was our experience on our FIRST cruise. All others have had a hard time holding a candle to it. There was an entire wall in the main living area that was closets. I think we had 3 or 4 sofas. We didn’t have a bar or a hot tub, though.
I think I speak for every one when I say that cabin is fabulous!
It's a good thing we weren't playing a drinking game for every time you said "ridiculous" about your suite or we'd all be under the table! So glad y'all got to experience that, you deserve a whole month cruising in that kind of luxury!
