I moved across the country and bought a house in KY that has an above ground pool, and I swear to gawd, it's so much work to maintain, and the learning curve is real! As much as I complain and am grossed out by maintenance (ain't nothing like finding a dead frog in your skimmer), it is my favorite part of summer. Floating in the water, watching the fireflies light off the ground like hot air balloons is a special kind of magic.
You could build a small circular tower to put in the middle of the pool and drape a tarp over it so leaves slide down and off. Or just sit a small round table in the middle with a tarp then you can use the table in summer when you uncover!

For autumn, if you put a bit of wood standing upright in the middle of the stock pool before you tarp it then you'll make a sort of tipi shape and the leaves will just slide off. Oh! Another name for the Lysimachia is 'Creeping Jenny'.
I know everyone else is really excited for your bathroom but I LOVE your little bath house and pool area and think it looks so charming. The pool refresh turned out really nice.
